Did you know that RELAY IS ALMOST HERE!!! Here are few last minute reminders:


  • Relay for life is a family-friendly activity.
  • Relay for life is alcohol -free and tobacco-free.
  • Please no pets at Relay for Life even the ones that fit in your purse. We always welcome service dogs, but please leave your pets at home.
  • Please DO NOT bring: BBQ’s (Charcoal or gas) open flames, firearms, bicycles, skateboards or rollerblades. However - Wagons, strollers and assistive devices are encouraged.
  • If you plan on using a personal generator, please be considerate of noise and those around you. All generators must be turned off during the Luminaria ceremony.
  • Be security conscious – While our leadership team has planned for your safety, please do not leave unattended items in your car. This is particularly important during our Opening, Luminaria and Closing ceremonies, as everyone’s focus is on the ceremonies.
  • Be mindful of the safety of runners – runners please run to the outside of the track and walkers please keep an eye open.


  • Money for on-site fundraisers
  • A good book or magazines
  • Canopy (be sure to bring something to hold them down)
  • Warm Clothes (the evening might be cool)
  • Hat or visor; Sunglasses
  • Cooler with refreshments/snacks (Pasta Dinner and Breakfast provided to registered participants)
  • Canopy Decorations – we are celebrating Movies!!
  • Batter operated lantern/flashlight
  • Lawn Chairs
  • Luminaria forms and Luminaria you have decorated
  • Donations
  • Sign promoting your team





DID YOU KNOW that St Patrick St Vincent High School donate their facilities and that on Monday the football team will be back on the field running practice? Please be extremely careful that anything you stake down is picked up, a stake left behind can cause a serious injury.

  • Teams can drop off items at their designated sit on Friday evening (July 31st) between 3 pm – 8 pm. Please enter the track and go counter clock wise around the track to your site, unload then immediately move vehicle to parking lot.
  • Motor homes and campers will be allowed beginning at 1:00 PM on Friday and will be the last off the track on Sunday.
  • Saturday morning cars will be allowed between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM. All cars must be off the track by 9:15 AM!  Saturday morning you will not be allowed through the gate until you have gone through Registration and received a wrist band (even to just drop off items at your team site) Please enter the track and go counter clock wise around the track to your site, unload then immediately move vehicle to parking lot.
  • Sunday cars will not be allowed on the track until 10:15 AM!! No Exceptions – please be courteous of our volunteers.
  • Overflow parking lot is located at 1120 Rose Dr. Team Chevrolet will have a shuttle running between 8:30 AM – 12 Noon and again for the Luminaria  Ceremony.
  • CHP has also offered overflow parking in their upper lot, parking on Benicia Rd. is at your own risk – while we have never received tickets in the past, we cannot guarantee it.
  • Handicap and Survivor Spaces are reserved but typically fill up fast, please consider this when parking for the day.
  • PLEASE be considerate of what you decorate with, straw, confetti or other small items are difficult to clean up. If you bring it, take it with you when you leave!!! THANKS.
  • Please place your Luminaria bags a few inches apart in front of your campsite, we ask each team to place at least 1 cup of sand and a candle (stand the wick up) in each bag. Please place your bags before 4:00 PM – we want to cover the entire track so some bags may be moved to fill in space if necessary.
  • On Sunday morning please collect any Luminaria that you would like to save before 8:00 AM, the sand may be dumped back onto the track.
  • Please, please, please help us leave SPSV cleaner than when we got here!! We want to be invited back next year.
