My reason for participating in my Relay For Life event is personal. A 17 year old girl named Summer Dale whose family was close with mine was unfortunately affected with a rare form of bone cancer. During her struggling process to fight it, she formed a program called "Team Summer" to help out kids in the community who were also struggling with problems that didn't always have to deal with cancer. Tragedy struck in late 2012 and Summer had passed away. Even though I didn't know Summer very well she put a big impact on me. I relay for Summer Dale and to keep Team Summer going.

Cupcakes are my passion. I love to bake them and I am always trying out new recipies. So I put my baking and fundraising skills together and started selling cupcakes in and out of school to reach my fundraising goal. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and given me good feedback. I really appreciate it!
