My Reason to Relay

I am participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life because I want to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer, and help those and the families whose lives have been affected by cancer!

Dear Friend,

Another year has passed, and for me, it is time to Relay again! What is Relay for Life? This organization does much more then help pay for cancer research, or provide rides to cancer treatments. For many, it is a gateway into happiness, comfort, support, love, friendship, spirituality, trenquility, and above all: life! 

 For me, Relay for Life has shaped my life in ways that I would have never imagined! Because of Relay, I have much more value for my life, because I know how lucky you and I are to walk this earth each and every day! I also have seen how cancer can not only take life away from someone, but how detrimental it is to the friends and family affected by this terrible disease!

 The only way we can celebrate those who have won the battle against cancer, remember the loved ones we have lost, and fight back against cancer, is to do your part in taking action! Whether it is by volunteering at a fundraiser, joining a team, honoring a loved one with a luminaria, or making a donation, there are endless ways to make a difference in the lives of millions of people with cancer!
