MidWest Homes for Pets is excited to host Delaware County's 4th annual American Cancer Society Bark For Life!

Bark For Life is a fundraising dog walk that honors the care-giving qualities of our canine "best friends." It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companions and contribute to cancer cures and programs that support those who have cancer. At Bark For Life, families and their dogs come together for a few hours to celebrate cancer survivorship (human and canine), to honor those we have lost, and to fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Bark For Life is a family-friendly event filled with smiles, barking, music, and fun activities, including contests, a silent auction with awesome pet and family entertainment items, and agility and obedience demos. Your dog can even have a go at our agility course! The event also features pet-related vendors and service providers, including local trainers, veterinarians, boarders, and groomers. The dogs' wagging tails make Bark For Life a happy and meaningful community event to support the mission of the American Cancer Society

Registration is $20 for one dog, $5 for each additional dog, and humans are FREE! All registration proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Pre-register on this website by September 4th to guarantee your Bark For Life T-shirt, Swag Bag, and Doggie Bandanna. Registrations for the event are accepted until the day of the event and at the gate; Bark For Life T-shirts, Swag Bags, and Doggie Bandannas will be distributed while supplies last.

And, don't miss your chance to meet Patty Spitler from Pet Pals TV! She and her beloved Stewie will serve as our grand marshals for the walk! Come join the fun! Bark, bark!
