are two dog events coming up in June, and I’d love for you to participate in
both of them! I’m hoping to pull together our community of dogs and their
people to share some fun, information, a promotional opportunity for you, and
to do some good for important causes.
June 18, 4-8pm, the City of Monrovia and Pasadena Humane will be hosting a
rabies shot clinic, and in conjunction with that, I’m coordinating “DOG DAY IN
THE PARK” that will coincide with the City of Monrovia and Pasadena
Humane hosting of their annual rabies shot clinic. The event is to be
held in Monrovia’s Library Park and will feature a market place of
pet-related businesses and organizations as well as adoption groups; we’ll have
access to the stage for presentations and announcements and entertainment.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Foothill Unity Center Pet Food

Control will be hosting their rabies shot clinic at the Duarte Community Center and

benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. This event will
also feature a marketplace of pet related businesses and organizations
including adoption organizations and rescue groups, and it is an opportunity to
support an important cause. At this event, people will register their
dogs for the walk through our marketplace.

With the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. The Relay For Life and Bark For Life movement offers an inspiring opportunity to honor cancer survivors, promote how individuals can reduce their cancer risk, and raise money to help end cancer. And we won't stop until we finish the fight against cancer!
