Bark For Life of Pima County 2015 Event Location & Date: To Be Announced
Thank you to everyone that made our 2014 event a success! Our sponsors, our vendors, our participants, our furry canine companions, our committee, our American Cancer Society and our cancer survivors...we really couldn't have done it without you.
With the fun we had, we want to encourage you to remember why we participate, why we volunteer and why we raise money. We want to fund the mission of the American Cancer Society and benefit cancer research. We truly want more birthdays.. for humans and canines!
We hope you join us next year in the fight to take a bite out of cancer! The committee has already started brainstorming to make 2015 even better.
Stay tuned for announcements regarding the 2015 Bark For Life of Pima County!
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life honors the life-long contribution of our canine friends. It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their tail wagging companions and to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society.
Canine friends are joining with the American Cancer Society as Relay teams and participants to celebrate cancer survivorship, to honor people and dogs lost to cancer, to fundraise in support of cancer research, education, awareness, patient services, advocacy, and to help eliminate the suffering that cancer causes worldwide. Canine Cancer Survivors, Canine Caregivers, Therapy Dogs, Service Dogs and Rescue Dogs are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Our dog family members represent unconditional love, joy, security, compassion and no judgements of human abilities or appearances.
So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games. We will also have vendors such as Veterinarians, Groomers and Trainers there as well. It's an irresistable way to take a bite out of cancer and support the mission of the American Cancer Society!
