GoPink!DC
Breast Cancer Survivors Paddling for Fitness, Friendship and Fun

Welcome to the GoPink!DC Team Page!
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is more than just the name of a walk; it describes the progress we're making in the fight against breast cancer. Nothing can describe the hope that is inspired by walking with others who share a passion for ending this disease. Because nearly everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way, hope for a world without the disease starts with us. We've decided to show our support and make a difference by walking as a team in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Hope starts with one walker and one dollar at a time. Hope starts with our team. And hope can start with you.
GoPink!DC is Washington, D.C.'s premier dragon boat paddling team of breast cancer survivors and supporters. Our members are among thousands of survivors and supporters world-wide who participate in this rapidly growing ancient Chinese paddling sport. Our membership is open and we welcome survivors and supporters to join us as we paddle for fitness, friendship and fun.
Immediately following the walk, visit the GoPink!DC tent close to the Survivors Reception area and sign up for a free introductory paddle in a dragon boat from the docks at the Nationals Park (weather permitting).
