Kilpatrick Stockton has a long tradition of giving back to the community through many outstanding organizations. The Firm has a special and deep connection to the American Cancer Society (ACS) especially concerning their fight against breast cancer, which has touched so many of our own employees’ lives.
Part of the Firm’s long standing relationship with ACS involves helping to create the innovative Patient Navigator Program which has been utilized by hospitals across the Southeast. We also support the ACS Relay for Life and the Daffodil Days event here in DC. At our partners’ retreat this year, we painted a mural and donated it to the ACS’ Hope Lodge in Charleston, SC. We’re very proud that our partner David Zacks who served as the National Chair of the ACS Board from 2002-2003. Another partner, Burleigh Singleton, is currently serving on the board of the ACS South Atlantic Division.
Last year was our first year as a Flagship Sponsor of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. We look forward to walking together again this year and participating in an even bigger and better event!
