Welcome to The PRIMAX PINK WARRIORS team page !

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is more than just the name of a walk; it describes the progress we're making in the fight against breast cancer. Nothing can describe the hope that is inspired by walking with others who share the same passion for finding a cure for this disease.

This is the third year Primax is involved with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and we are proud to have several breast cancer survivors on our 2009 team. Our first mascot this year is Danielle Murray, the precious daughter of Linda Kragnes, who is an employee of Johnston, Allison, & Hord - the attorneys that share the building with Primax. Danielle is in the midst of her fight with breast cancer and we are honored to have her as our mascot. Our second mascot is Stacey Lewis. Stacey has recently completed her radiation treatment for breast cancer which followed a lumpectomy. We also have survivors on our team - Sue is our mascot from 2008 - she is now walking as our one year survivor. Beckie Johnson is our nine year survivor ~ and Lisa Gilbert is walking as our three year survivor.  

My goal, as team captain, is to recruit even more walkers this year to rally around Danielle and Stacey and celebrate our survivors Sue, Beckie, Lisa and......

           ~ 9/22/2009 update ~

We have just added another survivor to our team. Her name is Leslie Wallace and she has just received a clean bill of health TODAY ! She is walking with us this year as another three year survivor. Welcome to our team Leslie - we are honored to have you with us.

The Primax Pink Warriors are looking forward to the walk on September 26th in Symphony Park and we hope to see you there !
