Pacesetters

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Pacesetters are a select group of walkers who are committed to achieving extraordinary results in fundraising for Making strides Against Breast Cancer.  This category of top fundraisers was created to give the American Cancer Society the opportunity to thank and recognize those individuals who go above and beyond in their efforts to help fight breast cancer.   Pacesetters are those individuals who raise $2,000 or more on their own.
        Strive

To become a Pacesetter, sign up and set your fundraising goal at $2,000. Then, customize your Personal Fundraising Page, and ask for donations form everyone you know!

Be Recognized

We are thrilled to acknowledge our Pacesetters with personal highlights and listings on this website, provide special recognition at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events and activities, and invitations to special American Cancer Society events and programs held throughout the year!

Connect

No one understands the excitement and satisfaction of becoming a pacesetter more than another Pacesetter. Pacesetter, Pacesetter Team members, and all participants who strive to reach either goal are welcome to join our social community network, support one another, and share stories.

Gail Taylor - First 2009 Pacesetter!

Gail Taylor

I walk and raise funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer so a cure will be found so my Niece and Great Niece will not have the disease in their life. I lost one of my best friends to Breast Cancer and do not want to loose any more. If I can make a difference in just one person, I feel like I have accomplished a lot.
