Why am I walking?

Today, there is more hope than ever for people touched by breast cancer. However, there is still much work to be done to promote early detection and to help those impacted by the disease. To help make a difference, I'm participating in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive walk supporting the American Cancer Society's unique mission to fight breast cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and service programs.

I have signed up to walk and hope you will join me in my effort by signing up to join my team, or making a donation in support of my participation. Hope starts here... with us!

Stay motivated by remembering your reason to Make Strides:

This year we are walking in honor of Amy Worthy Foss. She was diagnosed of breast Cancer in Feb of 2009 and is the daughter of a good friend. We also want to remember Carol Ward - our survivor extrodinare from last year. She is still doing great!!!
