Welcome - Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of survivorship - a time to express hope & shared determination to make this breast cancer's last century. 2015 was a great year. 2016 brings more fun for all. Join us!

THANK YOU!

THE MANCHESTER COMMUNITY RAISED $246,036

A crowd of about 2100 consisting of 1300 registered team members, 149 individual walkers, 153 survivors and 139 teams) came together to honor breast cancer survivors, educate women about prevention and early detection, and raise funds and awareness to help us achieve a day without breast cancer. We thank them, along with our generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers who make this very special day possible. Every donation is appreciated and benefits critical breast cancer research, early detection programs and services of The American Cancer Society. We are MAKING STRIDES towards a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays!

Thank you to ALL our sponsors: monetary, in-kind donations and volunteering.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.

Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.

We believe that everyone with breast cancer should have support.

That's why the American Cancer Society is so determined to be here for the survivors, the patients, the caregivers, and the millions saved through early detection.

Help raise funds for groundbreaking breast cancer research, life-saving education, and critical patient services by walking in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Making Strides of Manchester.

Get ready to join more than one million volunteers nationwide. When you sign up, fundraise, and participate in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will be there to support every person affected by breast cancer.

We walk to make sure that anyone touched by this disease has a hand to hold. So give us yours by taking the first steps in supporting this year's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.

You can start a team, or keep your team going. And keep raising awareness and donations.

Begin today! The sooner we start, the farther we'll go.

Join us now.

Why your participation matters
The American Cancer Society has been saving lives for more than a century. And we will continue to lead every step of the way. Find out how we're putting your dollars to work now - doing the most in every community to be there for those on the frontline as we fight this disease.
