It’s almost October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thank you for your support of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Cancer walk in Antelope Valley. This year, YOU are invited to join the American Cancer Society for two important events:
- Making Strides Walk of Los Angeles, located at Microsoft Square at LA LIVE, 800 W. Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles. Join more than 200 teams for a HUGE celebration with friends throughout LA County, and hundreds of breast cancer survivors.
- Thursday, October 27 from 4PM to 9PM: Making Strides Breast Cancer Rally & Fundraiser of Antelope Valley, located at Lancaster Farmer’s Market outside the Lancaster American Cancer Society Office: 815 W Lancaster Blvd Suite 115 Lancaster, CA 93534. The event will run from 4PM to 9PM with our program from 5PM to 6PM and a Salute to Survivors starting at 5:30PM.
Now you have your choice of two wonderful events to celebrate breast cancer survivorship, and help free the world from the pain and suffering from cancer. You can now be part of an extraordinary and diverse event with your fellow Striders from all over the county in Los Angeles on the 15th. And if you’d prefer to stay close to home, then join us at the Making Strides Breast Cancer Rally & Fundraiser of Antelope Valley at the Lancaster Farmers Market.
We believe that everyone with breast cancer should have support. That's why the American Cancer Society is so determined to be here for the survivors, the patients, the caregivers, and the millions saved through early detection. Help raise funds for groundbreaking breast cancer research, life-saving education, and critical patient services by walking in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Making Strides of Los Angeles or join us at the Rally on the 27th.
