THE GREATER RUTLAND COMMUNITY RAISED
$42,000.00 and still growing!
More than 250 participants came together to honor breast cancer survivors, educate women about prevention and early detection, and raise funds and awareness to help us achieve a day without breast cancer. We thank them, along with our generous sponsors, donors, and volunteers who make this very special day possible.
Every donation is appreciated and benefits critical breast cancer research, early detection programs and services of The American Cancer Society. We are MAKING STRIDES towards a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays!
Congratulations to this year's Rutland’s Pacesetters!
Thank you to our sponsors!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.
Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.
