Thank you Brunswick! We had a great time on Sunday October 4, and we hope you did as well! We had over 200 participants, almost 30 survivors, and raised over $27,000 with money continuing to come in! Don't forget you can continue to raise money through the remainder of the year! Raise over $500 and you qualify for a long self performance shirt! Raffle tickets can also be sold through the end of October! If you have any questions please email brunswickMEStrides@cancer.org

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.
Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.
