NEW CHALLENGE COMING SOON!!!
In 2015, it is estimated that 110 women each day will die from breast cancer in the United Sates. That’s over 40,000 women this year. We think that number should be 0! However, we can’t make breast cancer a thing of the past without your help.
We are challenging you to raise $110 in 4 days to honor those who will lose their breast cancer battle today and every day of 2015.
If you raise at least $110 online between Tuesday, October 6th at 12:01 AM CST and Friday, October 9th at 11:59 PM CST and are 1 of the top 6 fundraisers during that time you will receive a special version of the 2015 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer shirt. It will be pacific blue with the words “Passion, Power, Purpose” printed on the back in white lettering. Example of shirt below:
You can help finish the fight against breast cancer by raising funds for and walking with American Cancer Society Making Strides of Saginaw. Join more than one million people each year who are helping to end breast cancer.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.
Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.
