American Cancer Society's
Houston Corks and Forks
November 12, 2016
Please join us for the 2nd annual Houston Corks and Forks event on November 12, 2016 at The Houston Club. This unique event features a lively culinary competition highlighting some of Houston’s top chefs. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food tastings paired with fine wines as they watch the chefs show-off their culinary skills. Throughout the evening, attendees will cast their vote, via text messaging, for their favorite dish as well as their favorite chef. The winner of the highly sought-after Culinary Crown will be announced at the conclusion of the event. Attendees will also enjoy music, live and silent auctions, a wine pull, and other fun activities. This is the perfect occasion to honor those who have won the fight, those who are still fighting, and those that have sadly lost the battle against cancer.
The goal of the evening is to raise critical funds to support the American Cancer Society’s continued mission to eliminate cancer as a major health concern. With your support, the American Cancer Society can save lives by helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by researching cures, and by giving back to our community.
The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. As the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, more than $4 billion has been invested since 1946. Thanks to the American Cancer Society and their affiliates , more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the U.S. in the past two decades. Now that's a reason to celebrate, so please join us on November 12.
We hope to see you there!
