Please join the American Cancer
Society to save lives and create a world with more birthdays.
Join us for the American Cancer
Society's Waco Cattle Baron's Ball on Saturday, July 25, 2015 for a great night! Great
food, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more, provide for this premier
event to be one of a kind. And as we come together to party for a cause, the
American Cancer Society will continue to save lives and create more birthdays
by helping people to stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against
a disease that has taken too many lives.
Why: In 1913, the
five year survival rate was one in nine. In 1940, the survival rate grew to one
in four. In the 1960’s, the cancer survival rate was up to one in
three. Today, the cancer survival rate is 62% for all cancers.
