2016 Cattle Baron's Ball

The American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball is back! The annual boot scootin’, western-themed gala returns to Cobo Center for its 14th year in Detroit on Saturday, September 24.
Standing strong with the Society, this year’s celebration features Lead Sponsors BOSCH, Ford Motor Company and Lear Corporation.
Over 1,000 of Detroit’s top executives and community leaders will meet at one of the most entertaining, imaginative and rewarding events of the year to rub elbows while supporting the fight against cancer – the nation’s #1 public health concern. Guests will enjoy a fabulous strolling supper and dessert reception provided by metro Detroit’s finest restaurants, a stunning silent auction, special western-themed activities, incredible entertainment and a spectacular live auction.
More than 24,000 metro Detroiters will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Through the support of generous companies and individuals, the Cattle Baron’s Ball provides funding for much needed programs, services and research needed to save lives. Since the Ball’s debut, more than $14.1 million has been raised in support of the American Cancer Society, who uses its century of experience and unwavering commitment to beating cancer by helping people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back.
