FROM THE NORTH
Take Lake Shore Drive downtown. Exit at Grand. Continue south on lower Lake Shore Drive, then onto Wacker Drive — upper or lower. Continue on Wacker (it will "bend" south) about 4 blocks south to Madison. The opera house is located on the northwest corner of Madison and Wacker.

FROM THE NORTHWEST
Take 90/94 downtown. Exit at Washington Blvd. (East). Continue 5 blocks east to Wacker Dr. Proceed 1 block south on Wacker (to Madison). The opera house is located on the northwest corner of Madison and Wacker. (Just two blocks North of the Sears Tower on Wacker.)

FROM THE WEST
Take Interstate 290 (Eisenhower) downtown. Exit at Upper Wacker Dr (north). DO NOT EXIT AT 90/94! Proceed 5 blocks north on Wacker to Madison. The opera house is located on the northwest corner of Madison and Wacker. (Just two blocks north of the Sears Tower on Wacker.)

FROM THE SOUTHWEST
Take Interstate 55 (Stevenson) downtown. Exit at 90/94 (north). Exit from 90/94 at Washington Blvd. (east). Proceed 5 blocks east on Washington to Wacker Dr. Take Wacker Dr. 1 block south to Madison. The opera house is located on the northwest corner of Madison and Wacker. (Just two blocks north of the Sears Tower on Wacker.)

FROM THE SOUTH

BY TRAIN
The Civic Opera House is conveniently located near both Union Station and the Richard Ogilvie Transportation Center (formerly Northwestern Station). Union Station is bound by the following streets: Clinton (west); Canal (east); Jackson (south); and Adams (north). The Ogilvie Transportation Center is bound by the following streets: Clinton (west); Canal (east); Madison (south)/ main entrance; and Washington (north).
