American Cancer Society's
Color Out Cancer 2017
Welcome to the American Cancer Society's annual Color Out Cancer. At the American Cancer Society, we know that cancer affects everyone and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) individuals are no different!
Color Out Cancer aims at being a bridge to the American Cancer Society and the Society’s prevention, early detection, research, advocacy and patient services efforts. Color Out Cancer’s goal is to educate the LGBT community and empower the community’s individuals and allies to be advocates regarding cancer prevention and early detection. Color Out Cancer raises funds to help address the cancer disparities in LGBT cancer healthcare, provide prevention and early detection information, bring heightened awareness to the prevalence of certain cancers and their complications, and provide timely information and services to members of the LGBT population and their allies.
Color Out Cancer provides an accepting environment for LGBT individuals and cancer survivors to share their experiences, gain information and come together as a community to eliminate the pain and suffering from cancer.
