For this years Broad Street Run, we are going the extra mile and we are doing it to help save lives. My team, "Breast in Show" on Broad, joined the American Cancer Society and are dedicating our training and race participation to help raise breast cancer awareness. We are committed to doing the unthinkable, achieving what seems impossible, and changing the course of cancer forever.

Every team member has their own personal motivation and inspiration for participating, just like every person touched by cancer has a story to tell. My personal motivation for participating this year is my aunt, Angela McCabe, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. For all those who have fought and for all of those still fighting, this is our way of raising awareness against a disease that has taken too much.
