Welcome Friends!
The daffodil is a symbol of hope and renewal. To the American Cancer Society and Brandeis University, daffodils represent hope for a world with less cancer and more birthdays – one where cancer never steals another day from anyone’s life.
Every spring, people across Massachusetts fight back against cancer through the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days program. By making a Daffodil Days donation, you will be doing more than giving or receiving beautiful flowers – you will be sharing hope for a future free of cancer by raising funds and awareness to beat the disease. Your support will help the American Cancer Society save lives by helping people stay well with tips, tools, and resources so they can take steps to reduce their cancer risk or find it early, when it’s most treatable; by helping people get well with free programs and services that help them focus on beating cancer; by finding cures; by funding and conducting groundbreaking research; and by fighting back with lawmakers to pass laws that create a healthier world.
Brandeis strongly supports this initiative, and we would like to give our employees a chance to show their support as well. Use the links on this page to make a donation and receive a cheerful bunch of daffodils, anonymously send a Gift of Hope to a cancer patient being treated in your community, or send a Daffodil Days e-card to someone special.
You can donate on this Web site until March 1, 2013. Flowers will be delivered the week of March 18, 2013. Please make your donation using the Make a Donation link on this page.
Thank you for supporting the Daffodil Days program and for helping save lives from cancer.
