The Pull for a Cure Challenge offers competitors in a local regatta the opportunity to use their participation as a platform to garner financial support for breast cancer research. This year’s Challenge takes place at the Head of the Charles in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All donations are collected through the Pull for a Cure website and go directly to the breast cancer research support provided by the American Cancer Society. Participants in Pull for a Cure row in lieu of walking in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Boston walk. Donations through Pull for a Cure benefit Boston Making Strides, which takes place in 2016 on Sunday, October 2nd at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell.
