is Coach Izzo's Coaches Vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Challenge?
In 2012, Coach Izzo and Lisa Hildorf, Coaches vs. Cancer volunteer chairperson,
teamed up to engage local CEOs and the business community, launching the local
Suits and Sneakers Challenge. This expansion of the national American Cancer
Society Suits and Sneakers program, where college coaches wear sneakers with
their suits to support the fight against cancer, engages worksites of all sizes
to raise money for the Society.
Organizations, school systems, and CEOs are encouraged to join Coach Izzo and
business community to help eliminate cancer by hosting a Wear Your
Sneakers to Work Day.
Individuals make a minimum donation of $5 to the American Cancer Society
for the opportunity to wear sneakers to work, with friendly fundraising competitions
among participating groups. During this week of “friendly competition” one champion will be
crowned and win 50 tickets to the Breslin Bash, a behind the scenes experience with Coach Izzo.
Similar organizations will compete against
each other to be the highest fundraisers in their bracket. Win your bracket and
receive two tickets to the Breslin Bash.

The American Cancer Society saves lives and creates a world with more
birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.
We welcome the opportunity to bring Coaches vs. Cancer to your organization.
