Why I'm Fundraising

Fighting cancer takes teamwork. That’s why, for the 6th year in a row, I joined Spin for Hope (now called Pedal to End Cancer), an American Cancer Society program indoor spinning event that helps me raise money to support the Society’s mission.

As a Pedal to End Cancer participant, the donations I collect will be used to fund the Society's research, education, advocacy, and patient support programs, such as free rides to treatment, retreats for cancer patients and their loved ones, and a toll-free number (1-800-ACS-2345) the public can call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to talk to cancer information specialists.
