Please join me in supporting the American Cancer Society's Annual Pedal to End Cancer Fundraiser (formerly Spin for Hope).  I will be participating in this event with the Fit Lifestyle Studios Team.  I will spin for 3 hours in honor of those we have lost to cancer and in honor of the strong people in our lives that are still bravely fighting cancer.  

This year I feel like cancer has touched my life more than ever.  I feel like everywhere I turned I heard of a friend or loved one's life being impacted by a cancer diagnosis.  Last year I rode for my boyfriend's Aunt Cathy who was courageously battling melanoma.  She lost her battle with cancer in July, a beautiful life taken much too soon by this horrible disease.  I am now more dedicated than ever to doing whatever I can to fight for a cure!!   

Specifically I am riding in support of many worthwhile clinical trials that are taking place around the country to find a cure for various types of cancer. There is so much interesting research being done, but often there is not enough money to fund it and the trials do not get sponsored.  I am tired of seeing family and friends have to battle this illness, it is time to find a cure!!  This is a truly inspirational and worthy event and I'm happy to be able to participate this year!

I have chosen to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays – where cancer never steals another year from anybody’s life – by helping the American Cancer Society’s work.
