there are still -134 days to go! Join us for the 36th Annual Triad Swim for Cancer. This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. Every year many of the young people here in Greensboro chose to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service. Youths and teenagers are swimming laps at designated swim clubs and pools. They receive a donation for each lap they complete or one flat donation. All proceeds are used by the American Cancer Society for research, education, advocacy and services.
