Join my efforts to Go Bald in support of the Hope Lodge and help us support the fight against cancer!

A very close friend of mine was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.  She is getting ready to start the second phase of her treatment in early April.  A few weeks, ago, we were talking, and she said, "Susie, I really hope I don't lose my hair."  I told her not to worry, that if she did lose it, I would shave my head again.  Last week, she found out the chemo they will give her in a couple of weeks will cause her to be very sick, and she will lose her hair.  I can't do much to help her with the sick part, but I can definitely show my support with the hair part!  Another long-time friend of mine is battling breast cancer, and she, too, recently lost her hair.  And last but not least, a wonderful beautiful 12-year old girl is finally getting to grow her hair back after a year of chemo for a brain tumor.  As many of you know, I lost both my mother and sister to breast cancer and was diagnosed with breast cancer myself almost 11 years ago.  This event is near and dear to my heart, and I am happy to be participating again this year!!  This is for you, Debbie, Amy and Frances!
