Over the past few months many friends, family and colleagues have contirbuted to the American Cancer Society's Shave to Save fund Raiser for the Hope Lodge.

I cannot express my gratitude for your help and support.

On May 7th my mother took the first pass with the clippers and the Shave was on.  Quite frankly, it felt great!  The day of the Shave I happened to have lunch with another Shavee, Mason Hagemaster.  He is 14 and stayed at the Hope Lodge while he was battling cancer.  It was incredibly moving to hear about his experience.  This is truly a great cause.   

I want to express my deepest thanks to all of you who helped in this cause.  A total of $175.000 was raised to assist people in their fight for life.
