Hi Friends,

I am emailing you because you all know and love my mom!  Or, know and love me, and the person I am is greatly due to my mom.  You also know this has been an unbelievable year of ups and downs since we discovered her diagnoses of stage 4 breast cancer.   She has been fighting like a champ and I am continually amazed by how well she can keep her spirits up through months of chemo therapy.

I am joining a group of friends raising money to support the American Cancer Society. Their mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Please help me!

We will be doing a 2 mile (one-way) climb in Ellensburg on Sunday, October 11th.  My goal is raise $300 for this cause - and every step of this hike will be in celebration of my mom and this battle with cancer.
