Recruit walkers by asking friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and people from your community. Ask anyone and everyone to join your team and walk with you.
Set a Goal…You steal 2nd base! The crowd goes wild!
Set a Team Goal and a Personal Goal. Set your goals high so you have something to strive for.
Fundraise…Your teammate hits a grounder! You’re safe at 3rd!
Ask for donations. Ask everyone you know if they will support you in the fight against cancer. Send out fundraising emails from your personal page on the website.
Come out with your whole team…You hit a HOME RUN!!!

Individual MVP Prizes

Lunch for you and a guest with Cyclones' manager and two Cyclones players. Ceremonial first pitch at a Cyclones game to the top fundraising individual.
Batting practice at KeySpan Park for the top 10 fundraising individuals.
Night on Cyclones Party Deck for the top 50 fundraising individuals at a Brooklyn Cyclones game.
Individuals who fundraise $25 or more will receive a Take Your Base t-shirt.

Team MVP Prizes
(minimum of $10,000 raised by team)

Awards for Fastest Runners

Top three male and top three female receive a commemorative Take Your Base medal and additional prize packages.
Top male and top female receive a Cyclones Grand Slam package which includes four (4) Field Box seats, four (4) food vouchers and the opportunity to meet the Cyclones players and coaches.
