Take Your Base

The American Cancer Society and Brooklyn Cyclones' Take Your Base is a community and family event designed to raise awareness about, and highlight the importance of, screening and early detection for cancer.

Unfortunately, almost all of us have been touched by cancer. It is estimated that over almost 1.4 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year, with over 87,000 coming in New York State. In Brooklyn alone, 200 people are diagnosed every single week.

But with your support, you can make a difference and continue to help fund cancer research and provide programs and services to those affected.
