In April of 2002, my father was diagnosed with cancer. During my fathers fight with cancer, I had always mentioned that I wanted a dog after I finished College. He told me that I could get anything as along as I graduated from college and got a job..lol… Sadly that September 3, 2002 he lost his fight. He never got to see me graduate from college and get a job but, little did I know 6 years later to the date of my fathers passing, on September 3 of 2008 a little yorkie boy was born (the only BOY in his litter of 4)! I still, to this day, feel that my father sent him to me. So I decided to name my new puppy after my dad, Junior.
Together we can make a difference!
This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. Junior and I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service
