"I began volunteering with ACS in high school and I have been involved with the organization the past 9 years. During that time both of my parents have battled cancer and it has impacted my life tremendously. Joining the Junior Executive Board seemed like the perfect opportunity to fight bck against this disease. It has been a huge blessing to meet other young professionals that are also motivated to fight back against cancer and spread awareness to our community." - Amanda Ford

"I began volunteering with ACS in the 7th grade through Relay For Life. We did it as a class, but I soon found out that I had a huge passion for it. Fast forward to college, as I was serving on the Exec. Committee, my grandfather was diagnosed. Since then, I've committed myself to help make a difference so that no one has to go through what our family did." - Nick Goudreau

"After being involved with Homewood's Relay For Life for several years, I decided to get further involved with the American Cancer Society by joining the Junior Board. I think cancer is a casue that everyone can relate to as most people have been touched by cancer in some way, whether it be personally or through a friend or family member." - Kristen Francisco

"I joined the American Cancer Society Junior Executive Board becasue I have personally seen the effects that cancer can have on families and individuals after losing my father to liver cancer and supporting my mom in her fight against squamous cell carcinoma. I believe that cancer research, cancer awareness, and fundraising are vital parts of the fight against cancer and are why I have loved being involved with this organization." - Jamie Holmes
