About Coaches vs. Cancer

Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend During one weekend in February each year, basketball coaches raise awareness to help fight cancer by wearing sneakers with their game attire and having their coaching staff do the same. By lacing up your sneakers, you can raise awareness about the fight against cancer, share the importance of nutrition and physical activity in reducing one’s risk of the disease, and promote the American Cancer Society as a place for people facing cancer to turn 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for free information, help, and support. This is a great opportunity to rally the community and demonstrate your commitment to fighting cancer.
