Why I’m Wearing Pink for A Crucial Catch
am personally committed to making a difference in my community by
supporting the American Cancer Society through the NFL’s A Crucial Catch
campaign. This program emphasizes the importance of annual mammograms
to catch any signs of breast cancer early, treatment is most successful.
It also raises awareness about what everyone can do to help finish the
fight against breast cancer.
Throughout National Breast Cancer
Awareness Month in October, I’ll be wearing pink to show my support of A
Crucial Catch and the American Cancer Society’s fight to end breast
cancer. And the team I’m on is doing our part to help save more lives.
Our mission is clear – keep fighting for the day no one hears the words
“you have breast cancer.” Please make an online donation to my goal.
Why I Support the American Cancer Society
day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce
their risk of breast cancer or find it early when it is easiest to
treat. Today 1 of every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer
reaches out to them for help and support. They provide free information
and services when and where women need it throughout their journey to
get well. They are investing in groundbreaking research to find,
prevent, treat, and cure breast cancer, and are working to ensure access
to mammograms for women who need them.
