American Cancer Society’s
Coaches vs. Cancer Hoops for Hope
Date coming soon!
After thoughtful consideration, the committee has decided to postpone this year's event. We will be working hard to bring you a new event that continues to involve all of our Nebraska Division I coaches and raise money to help those diagnosed with cancer.
We want you involved and will notify you as soon as we have a new date. You can still make a donation to support the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer program.
Your donation can help save lives:
- Your donation can help us find cancer's causes and cures through groundbreaking research. As the largest private, nonprofit funder of cancer research, we've played a role in nearly every cancer breakthrough in recent history.
- Your donation helps discover new ways to prevent cancer or find it at its earliest, most treatable stage and helps people take steps to stay healthy.
- Your donation allows us to do the most to help people with cancer today. We're here 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help people with cancer and their families through every step of the cancer experience. We provide reliable information about cancer and treatment options, and free services like transportation to and from cancer treatment or a free place to stay while receiving treatment away from home.
Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and local programs of the Cancer Society.
