Target Your Donation: Navigating Cancer Fund

Dear ,

Imagine the entire population of New York City and Los Angeles.

That's 12 million people.

Your recent donation is part of the reason there are nearly twelve million cancer survivors who are alive today - thank you! You've made an impact, but there is still so much to do.

Now you can choose how we, the American Cancer Society, use your vital dollars! Introducing Impact Funds, a new program created to enable you to donate directly to the area you choose. There are many different fund opportunities, but today we'd like to tell you about the Navigating Cancer Fund.

When you support the Navigating Cancer Fund, you'll help support the nation's largest oncology-focused Patient Navigator Program, located in 134 treatment facilities nationwide, which helped guide 90,000 people through the medical maze of cancer care in fiscal year 2011. We're proud to have won many of our battles against cancer and we will continue to do so - with your help.

Make a gift now.

Examples of impact your gift can make:

$100 helps fund our National Cancer Information Center. Open 24/7 to provide a comforting voice and access to accurate, up-to-date cancer information.
$500 helps personally assist patients in making informed decisions through the American Cancer Society Patient Navigator Program.
$1000 helps offer peer-to-peer education and support to 25 participants through programs such as Reach To Recovery® and Man to Man®.

These are just a few examples of the Navigating Cancer Fund at work.

The American Cancer Society is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. No goods or services were provided for this gift. Please consult your tax advisor regarding specific questions about your deductions.
