Two Dogs Petsitting has cared for many cancer patients...mostly dogs, but a few cats, rabbits, and ferrets. Our pets count on us to find a cure for this disease. Because of the American Cancer Society and the research they continue to do, our pets are getting better care. Will you walk for an hour and raise $100 to help a pet with cancer...it's the least we can do for them!

Sammy was a red doxie I rescued...we went through most of my twenties together and he was my best friend. Sammy almost completely recovered from being paralyzed in his rear end because of the intense therapies we did together. He was diagnosed with splenic cancer, had surgery, started chemo, and passed away within two weeks in 1999. At the tme, we did everything possible to keep him from suffering and the cancer was so bad that he never had a fighting chance. One of the saddest moments in my life was when I held him in my arms during the euthanasia injection...still (and will probably always) brings tears to my eyes remembering that moment. He is missed greatly!
