My Reason to Relay

It saddens me to say that I have more reasons to Relay this year. More friends, relatives, acquaintances and their families were stricken since June of last year; I wish I could say more survived and were cured.

This year I must add Peter Luelsdorf; Sandy Knox; Reginaud Sabalo. Also, my favorite songwriter and would-be friend, had we met: Dan Fogelberg. Dana Reeve, and her mother. Luciano Pavarotti and Beverly Sills. Countless others I cannot name.

Strong, surviving ladies, friends Tedi, Lupe, Carla and Charlotte...You go, girls!

As always, my mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and father-in-law, who lived in times when beating cancer was merely a concept. Now, it is more than a dream.

Please make a donation to me or join my team. You are helping deliver the hope that future generations will not have to endure cancer threatening the lives of their friends and family. You have the power to fight back against a disease that affects millions.

I know that times are a bit tough for many, but not as tough as it is for those living with cancer. Please help, every dollar goes a long way.
